Yes, I'm camping there. Why don't you just camp there along the trail if you want primative?

check the national forest website, but my understanding is that you can just plop your tent down and camp....

thanks. i did find a few national forest campgrounds too. i'm not going to camp at the same campground that you are because its kinda far from the 49er. so, ill either camp next to the trail near the entrance, or i'll probably camp at s-tree.

Wish I could make it down guys.. Im heading home this weekend and with all the problems Ive been having with my jeep as it is, I dont want more wear and tear..

haha, I dont believe Ive ever been to Livingston when it was sunny! Its always raining or snowing! I bet you all will get up all those rocks with a problem!

I hate mud and rain..

cool! more people! do you think you could pick up a couple more burgers? i have 10, but that wont be enough anymore and i wont have a chance to go to the store before i leave tomorrow. if you could, that would be awesome.
