CB, tow strap, tools, etc. Don't worry about it. We got you covered! Just bring a lunch, water and warm clothes and you'll be set.

If you have an FRS radio or CB that can be helpful, but not completely necessary.

There's a good list of stuff in the tech section...http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=172

Who all has a CB radio?

I want to go, but not sure if I will be able to until it's too late. I'm never late, so if I'm going I'll be there at 9:00am.

What trail? Has that been determined?

We'll probably do a couple. Start off with Middle St. Vrain as a warm up and then move on to Coney Creek or Eldorado Mtn (or both if we have the time). There is ton of stuff right up there.

Pretty much everybody has a CB at this point. Not sure if Bronsrule or Diminish have them though...

ok, I have 4 FRS radios and the CB of course....

Do I need to bring the FRS radios? How many do not have a CB yet?

Also Joel, how accurate is the time of 1 hour and 38 minutes from the springs to the meet place? Should I allow more time or less?

BTW I am in for certain, as if you didn't know it already!

With no traffic on a Saturday morning that's probably close. Maybe tack on 20 minutes just to be sure.

Bring the radios as long as you have them. It sounds like Broncs and Diminish may need some means of communication. I assume Ricky has one, but not sure. Anyway, 4 radios may be just about right.

well, My Cobra FRS's take 4 AAA batteries each, so if you need one, please have a pack of batteries.

The Midland FRS's take 4 AA Batteries each, I have AA's, but if you need one, please let me know, so I know who will use which, I can bring all 4, but if no one has AAA's, then 2 are useless. So there it is, tightwad won't buy AAA's. I will keep one of the Midlands in my Jeep to relay messages between CB and FRS, so 3 more are available.

Just wanted to drop in again to say I won't be able to make it, my camping trip is a go. I hope you all have a great time and I'm looking forward to doing a run with you sometime--I'll keep my eyes peeled for any future rides....

I have just discovered that I acutally own two radios... so I can bring two as well. No batteries needed for them either, and they are charging right now as I type. So for anyone radioless and who doesn't want to get batteries I will have a spare.

if i get the skid from rusty's i will probably join you. considering the wrong part was shipped followed by a delay in production of the correct part, followed by the delay in shipping, followed by the lost ups shipment, followed by the "we are shipping another one" i am thinking the chanceas are slim i will be making it, but there is always a chance.

dont worry about waiting for me. i will eiher be there early or wont be making it. enjoy MSV/Coney, they are fun trails. hopefully i can make it since i havent run them in the libby.

Tokyo... good news. I will not be needing your spare. Goodyear was able to come through for me and got one in. Going up this afternoon to swap out. Thanks again though.
