Hey gang,

We were trying to set-up a surprise party for Mike Rollins. SURPRISE!!!

We have not received the interest we thought we would, but it was hard to tro to plan it without posting, so here it is.

There will be a belated birthday party for Mike Rollins. It will be in Big Bear on Sat, July 21st, in the evening. It will be at a cabin (yet to be determined).

There will be wheeling during the day. See this thread for that:

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=21752

There will be a Luau themed party that evening.

If you need or want to stay in a cabin, please PM me and I will provide you a lady to call for pricing. We do have a HUGE cabin selected, but we need folks to commit and provide a deposit. If we do not get enough people to help pay for the big cabin, then the party will be held a smaller one, and folks will haev to leave at a certain time. Here is the cabin we want to use: http://www.bigbear1.com/units/0619.html

There are only a couple of "private" rooms there and they have been tentatively spoken for. Mike will get his own room. He can share if he wants... LOL

If you prefer, there is always camping and local lodging.

We do need some help with the party. Need help decorating, providing food, etc...

If you want to wheel, please post in the other thread.

Please post in this thread for cabin and party.

I need some help from you all. Mike has done tons for a lot of folks.

The reason we are having it this late is because of Mike's schedule. he is England for 2 weeks (poor sensored word) wheeling and sightseeing... He has been working on other's people Jeeps the past several weeks. So July 21st was the first weekend he had available.

Post up - lend a hand, share the cabin... come have some fun!

No worries JJ. I sure hope to see some LOST folks at Mike's bash though.

************************************************************

I have more info on the cabin.

It is AWESOME! http://www.bigbear1.com/units/0619.html

It is located in Big Bear Lake, near Moonridge Road. 258 Oriole Road, Big Bear Lake:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&g ... &z=15&om=1

There is plenty of room for parking as well as a dirt lot right beside it for those needing/wanting to tow their rig (trailer parking, no camping)

The cabin will comfortably sleep 14 people. We have a few folks confirmed. There are only 2 private bedrooms, and they have tentatively been spoken for. There are 2 sofa beds - one in the den, one in the living area. There is another room with a bunkbed, a twiin bed, and a trendle bed.

The price will ultimately depend on the number of folks staying in the cabin. We have the cabin for both Friday AND Saturday night.

The folks in the private room will be paying a little bit more than those sleeping on the smaller beds.

If folks want to sleep on the floor, that's fine, but you will need to help pay for the cabin.

If you plan on staying in this cabin either/both nights, please post in this thread - which night, how many people.

Towels and linens are provided.

We need supply food and beverages.

ALL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN CASH, TO ME UPON ARRIVAL.

We are getting a hell of a deal on this huge home.

If you do not want to stay in this and need accomodations, you can call the lady listed below. She can hook you with a great deal on our own cabin or a nice hotel. There is a hotel very close to the party cabin.

Contact J.J. McClelland @ 800 966-9971 or e-mail jj@bigbear1.com

www.bigbear1.com

Just tell her with the Jeep club and Mike's party! She can also hook you up whenever you want to go to Big Bear.
