So they announce the LIFETIME drive train warranty for Chrysler products

http://www.chrysler.com/en/lifetime_pow ... _warranty/

but once again the oil burners get left out in the cold.

I guess they learned their lesson on the torque converters for the 05s CRDs and/or they have us pegged as a bunch of thrifty folk who will keep our vehicles almost forever.

I'm hoping this is a purchasable option for those of us still covered by warranty. I am allowed to buy the 7/70 warranty up until the time my current warranty runs out, I'd pay quite a bit though for a lifetime warranty.

But would Cerberus, the mythical three headed dog garding the gates of Hades be any better at working on our CRD's?

Cerberus in Greek translates to "Demon of the pit", or loosely translated "A DCX CRD technician". We can say the Cerberus will allow only dead CRD's to enter Hades and none to exit back to the world of drive-ability

Don't worry just yet, right now Cerberus is too busy working on the "stealerships".

Looks like they are being made an offer they can't refuse...
