Hey guys and ladies, if there are any.

Did you see the formation of the new BlueGrassLOST forum?

lets get this post on that forum and then make sure it apears on the BlueGrassLOST.com site.

I will keep up with the info and post it there.

Also, you all know that deer season is in full swing during the fall run? Not real sure how much bow huntin happens in the DBNF, but keep it in mind where ever the run winds up.

It's their woods too.

Keep me posted on the decisions and I want to run also.

Yes, we know about BGlost, but I think it's best if you just link to this thread in this forum, that way we get all the folks from IN, OH, MI, etc. We definatly are looking forward to wheeling in KY and with any jeepers from there. As for hunting season, bow shouldn't bother us at all, and gun season last year was only an issue for the first 2 miles of the trail....

I am not so worried about "Bothering Us" as you put it. I am concerned with sharing the woods with the hunters. Having a bunch of jeeps running through the woods is not the greates way to spen a day deer hunting. It's their wood too.

Just my opinion.

I know I would be upset if it happened to me. And I love to do both.

If they are smart, they wont be hunting right next to a forest service road well known for its OHV use...

Well, I love to hunt as well, but I try not to hunt on roads... I'm sure they know that a few jeep clubs come through on weekends...

Besides that if you are a good hunter you are out there at day break, have one down, gutted, hauled in and bragging about it over breakfast at the local diner !  But yes if you are sitting on or beside a forest service road then you expect to have some noise! At times that even attracks the deer out into the open. Hauling manure out in the fields one year and got 3, 3 mornings in a row take a load out to spread and another one would come out!
Or I mean people with me got them
