Marc, why are you getting something else just because somebody else doesn't like your Jeep? Who cares if someone else doesn't like it as long as YOU do. If I cared what other people thought, I wouldn't have bought a KJ in the first place, and I'd be just another tool in a fullsize or a 4runner

If you don't want to get other opinions, DON'T ASK!

I agree if you like it then don't worry about what others think.

BUT, If you ask WE WILL TELL YOU WHAT WE THINK!!!

That jeep is hardly show and go, I don't think you understand so i'll explain. Blinged out doesn't mean cheap accessories, a perfect
'show' car has subtle chrome to accent parts and a theme, not stick on everything...everywhere.

Here are some examples of "blinged" out trucks, that look very classy and go together well. There comes a time when you realize if I can't do it extraordinary, why do it at all? That's what cheap stick on chrome pieces bring to mind IMO.

darn you guys are rough. But I have to admit the comments are funny. For the record the Topic says "Post pics of your rig here" Not "Lets bash on every one who posts pics". I'm 32 & personally dont care much about others opinions. But this is "the site" for KJ's and the pic bashing attitude probably turns off alot of new comers. There are alot of people driving liberty's that already get bashed for driving a "chicks car" and then they come here and get the same thing. Just a thought.

Like I said, You don't want our opinions don't ask for it.

I don't get bashed for driving a girl's car, I just get good-humored ribbings from other Jeep guys. (at least I don't have a Patriot or Compass, lol) If I was worried about what other people thought, like I said in an above post, I wouldn't have bought a Liberty.

I also told you to keep going in the direction you're going if you like it. It's not our position to tell you what to do, because we aren't makin the payments on your rig. If I started a thread about MY rig that said "LOOK AT MY HARDCORE OFF ROAD MACHINE" about my stock 02 KJ, people like TJKJ and JJsKJ would most likely set me straight and be quite a bit ruder than they've been to you (which, IMO, there's no uncalled for comments in the thread)

And Donnie...last I checked four degrees of negative camber doesn't look good to anybody that isn't driving an old VW, or selling that truck's 295/30-24 rubber

We dont usually bash this much, people usually dont post something that bash worthy. Maybe in the end once its fully done to your liking it will look better, but it only looks half done and very cheap looking. And when you welcome the bash comments, people are going to be honest...very honest.

I did not dammit! "The chrome step bars wont be in for another week..." O.k. the chrome handles and the grill inserts are a bit much, But I like my giant cream filling sucking spider on top. It is PVC, wooden dowel strengthened, sanded, and rubber dipped. I've beaten the hell out of it, and theres barely a knick. The reason I didn't go with the steel is that I couldn't find any that were deep enough to meet my needs.

Your right though guys, I did ask for it, and I knew it was coming.

Hey the main thing you like your Liberty and are proud of it I can tell. If the roof basket bugs somebody they dont have to look at it right? To each his own. I have all the emblems off mine some dont like that, I have the old style window visors some dont like them so what, drive it and be proud!
Oh by the way you did ask for it big time so now you have been gotten by the LOST Bunch!

marcmann can i offer constructive criticism if you like the chrome? red and chrome is a good compliment on a car i think...if you want to stay chromed i say Chrome Wheels, Chrome Brush Gaurd, and Gas Lid are great...makes it stand out. Im not fond of the handles but if you put a good set of rims and off road tires on it and ditch the handles i think itd look sick!
