OK, what rack do you have and what is your overall height?

Do you have a lift?

I am pissed as I scraped the top of my Surco roof rack going into an underground parking lot even though I don't have a lift (post lowered 02). I do however have OEM 17" w/ 29.5 OAD rubber.... 0.4" taller than stockers. I never thought my KJ was tall by any standards... as I have gone into numerous underground lots w/o any issues...

We don't have too many of those parking lots here. But, that rack is pretty freaking tall. Not real sure what my overall height is with it on. I take it off to save gas when I'm not going to be using it for awhile.

I've hit my Surco Rack once while driving into a underground mall entrance. I used to fit with less than an inch to spare and one day I was driving in a little faster and I hit the tester piece of lumber than hangs down so you can guage whether you're going to hit. It moved the rack back about an inch and that was it. Funny thing is that I hit the tester bar but didn't hit anything inside the garage.

I am running 225/75 16 with a daystar 1.5/2.5 plus clevis lift in front. I am also using the factory Surco mounts(expensive) which are probably a good inch higher than anything else out there.
