KJ4ME, I do believe those are details you should propose. Especially since you're going TOMORROW. Have fun on the run guys, we're gonna sit this one out, but we will probably go to Jay's (bar) in the evening if you're interested.

im just trying to make this work for everybody, i know that im open for anything but others may not be. i personally have a friend that wants to go, but hes not available until 11, if nate wants to hit trailhead by say 8AM, then ill have to go with that. Bill, u know me, im not happy if others arent happy. sympathy... one of my thousands of weaknesses

It's a good thing I am not waiting around in Pocatello or anything.

Actually, I had to head back to SLC to get my tires on. It would be rough to meet at 8AM because I still don't know where to get a room and I have a long drive ahead of me. Hopefully you get this by 7 PM. Or I'll have to book a room where it makes sense for me business-wise. I don't really want to drive through the night.

Sorry dude, got cold feet and booked a room in MOAB. So I am probably going to test the new stuff out there. Maybe next time, I can be in MOAB in 3.5 hrs which is about the half way point to anywhere I need to go in CO. Of course, if you want to meet me in MOAB that would be cool.

ok so nate looks like its just you and me.
Take I-25 north until you get to the I-70 junction. travel west on I-70 to exit 133 at US 6. Take US 6 briefly to Colorado River Road, and follow this road north to the Coffee Pot Road trailhead on the left. Meet at the Starbucks next to the gas station at Downieville, exit 234 off of I-70 at about 9-9:30. let me know if this dosent work or you want to meet someplace else, im flexible. if we could exchange numbers in pm that would be cool!

yesterday was alot of fun, bill missed out becasue there was lots and lots of mud. there were a couple of obstacles and a small stream we had to cross. coffee pot road is seriously like 30 miles long!!! its the trail you have to take to get to the trails. namte had more fun in the mud than i did, in fact i skipped the ones i could go around. i dont have much confidence with the goodyears, these are the same tires that have difficulty channeling away water in rain storms. i am going to get more aggressive in the search for a lift kit becasue im kinda tired of hitting the front skid on EVERYTHING. ill post pics when i get home from work today...

And just in case you all were wondering what the 2008/2009 Hyundai Equus might look like, here are some test mules on I70 East bound. the Equus is a RWD luxury sedan that may take the place of the Azera as early as next year. i think its intent is to ruffle the Lexus GS series' feathers since hyundai seems to be doing that now with the VeraCruz with the Lexus RX350. it will more than likely use a Mitsubishi sourced 4.5L V8 and their current 3.8L 263HP V6 used in the Azera sedan as the base unit. these test mules were seen in march running around france and parts of germany, so it seems hyundai is going to be very aggressive about its launch and getting them out to the public quickly and without hickups.
