I red that as I do get jp, what a joke, a kj can only be modded so far. That might be true, however, to the point a kj can be modded is where 90% of wheelers are at for general 4 wheeling. Alot of us wheel at stock or slightly modded because were not rich, but still like to have fun and alot of us use our kj's as DD as well. I've had cj's and wranglers and I take the kj to all the same places without any problems and a bit more comfort. The ifs thing is a bit over rated for your average joe, I wheel an 04 ranger 4x4 as well and it has ifs. I cranked the t-bars, slammed on a set of bkg ko 265/75-16's, bilsteins and a tru-trac and it goes like hell, carves up those mountain trails as does my stock (for now) kj. I've yet to wheel where ifs becomes a problem or have I broke anything. When I do mod the kj, it will be just tires, lift and lights, maybe a cargo rack and it's good to go, "o yeah", and a tru-tac. JP lives in a world where they think everybody needs and build 50,000.00$ boulder smashing rock buggies. They write articles on how to build your jeep for the rubicon, the same place that jeep tests thier stock jeeps without jp's million dollar build. Then they get excited when they find a 550 dollar cj-6, throw on a set of plug wires and can wheel it, when in fact a kj can go any where they take there trophy cj- 6 and then some all in more comfort. They have warpped values, be it low buget or high dollar junk, it pretty much has to be junk before they give it the nod. Just think about the poor sensored word when your ac is blowing in your face while your listening to your cd climbing the rubicon and thier sweating and being tossed around like an empty beer can, who is really enjoying thier wheeling experience and who has the true off-road machine hee hee. The real jokes on them.
