What muffler should I get that is tuff and gives a good low rumble? Not loud, just a low toned rumble.

Myself and some others have the Flowmaster 50 SUV... I'm quite happy with it so far, nice low rumble, not too loud.

I can give you an exact part number of the one that fits if you need it.

Dave

Check out local shops to see if they handle the Flo Pro line, its a knock off Flowmaster basically but has a good tone, and cheaper, had mine put on for under 70 bucks

I'm in the minority when I say go with the Magnaflow. According to my muffler guy, he said the magnaflows aren't as lound inside as the flowmasters. Meaning you can have a normal conversation without yelling. It's a nice low rumble until you step on it and then it comes to life!!!

Last year in July I purchased my first Jeep an '02 Sport 4x4 3.7 with auto trans. Of the first thing I did in the first week ownership. Bt this is what I did within the first week.
Amsoil from bumper to bumper
New A/C condenser = Warranty
New Radiator = Warranty
Rear Differential Rebuit =Warrant
Front Rotors Trued up = Warranty
LBJ's =Warranty and Lastbut Not Least
Magna-Flo muffler
Now allow me to state for the record besides the better price of Magna-Flo. It has a sweet throaty tone, not too loud but just sound GOOD. But , truthfully saw no milage improvent, maybe a little better performance but it does sound COOL 8)
If you have deep pockets "Go For IT". If you don't visit this web site as many time as possible, and get as much information as you can. Correspond with as many L.O.S.T. members as you can, that's what makes this forum so cool you have a plethera of information. They not only have been there and done that but have in some situations fond a better way of solving the problem. Some these guys are Mech's and do this for a living. You would never want to meet a greater bunch of people.
GOOD LUCK

I'm wondering about this same issue! Been searching the forum, but there are a lot of options. Seems like the Flowmaster 50 series SUV is popular. Wondering about the Gibson and Magnaflow? It would be nice to keep it quiet in the cab, but get a little more noise than stock!

I have flowmaster 50 SUV
It is nice, low rumble, and not bothersome at all. If you wanna wake up the neighbors, it is not for you, go with 40 alone..
Good Luck.
