Real pictures tommorrow with my 245/75s on....

But for now:

I have a tad bit more ground clearance right now than the ram. With my tires on, it will be about 1.5" more.

To be honest, I'm not to happy with Rusty's design. Nothing fit good...at all. I had to manipulate a few bolts and holes to make everything work. The instructions are a whole 'nother topic :P. Anyways, I'm happy I'm done :).

just out of curiosity.. why did you go with the lift and big tires instead of the slick lowrider look you had going on? looks great both ways im just wondering why you transitioned..

Well, I killed the tires on my 22"s so they had to go. I needed new tires for the stock rims, so I got them and a lift for $650, about $1100 less than just my rims. I really love clean lowered vehicles but it just wasn't worth it on the liberty to me. It wouldn't be low nor clean enough to look good, and I bought this thing to be practical. I had rims on my silverado when the truck scene started to burst in 2002. Now, I work in a city and every POS tahoe and civic are on 20s, it just isn't the look im going for. If I had an escalade, it would be on 22s...not the liberty.

Update:

Got the tires on, balanced and aligned. Definetly rides stiffer but the handling is much more percise...i love it.

Looks sweet donnie. I couldnt find any swirls in your paint and that doesnt happen to often. 8)

Did you notice a drop in performance or mpg with the bigger tires?

Does the rear sit that much higher than the front or does the pics make it look that way? I just dont like the look of the rear being alot higher.

Thanks everyone.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance, but I haven't filled the tank up yet. I totally feel you on the rear being high, or 'texas' rake, it's not as bad as it looks. It's mainly the design of the liberty that is slanted forward, the actual ground clearance right before the front and rear wells is the same.

Sweet! You should notice a difference on the highway. When I got my 245/75R16's I noticed my cruise control had to downshift more often.

As far as the roof basket is concerned, Donnie, You CAN NOT HAVE YOUR RAILS BACK!!!!

I like the smooth look but I like the rails you sold me.

Nice Avator 03KJsport, I dig it but the moderators might not. My vote is you keep it but you have to post more so we can all see it once in a while...

Nice ride Donnie, now get 16" black rims with a polished lip.

Looks a lot better than the 23's LOL. You are going to need a spare if you start wheeling it though....
