I can't believe this! Someone dented my front bumper!!! It either happened last night at Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot, by a friends neighbor across the street ( I was parked near their driveway overnight), or at the parking lot at work. I am sooooooo P.O.'d right now!!!

Okay, I know it is less than some of you have encountered. It is nothing compared to other damage I have encountered with my cars in the past, but this was my first brand new car sinice 1986. No car dings yet and then this happens. AAAAAHHHH!!!!

I guess it is a good excuse to get a new steel bumper, huh?

If I had damaged the bumper, I would not be upset or mad. When someone damages my property, I get seriously P.O.'d. No respect for other people's property. I should have a right to shoot the idiot. No note or anything

Use a heat gun or a very hi temp blow dryer...heat it up but don't get it too hot and then pop it back out... it has to be hot. later...Clint

Man that stinks. Drag that KJ all the way up Bill Moore and Coney Flats and no problems. Park it in a parking lot and all of a sudden you got damage. :x

I would go hit a trail and rub that sucker against some rocks and trees....make your poor KJ feel all better. At least then you could say part of it was trail damage.

I swear that was not me! Nothing pisses me off more than when people hit your car and then take-off. My front was already hit by another car in the same parking lot. He/she took-off, but luckily I was able to pop it out. One week later, this happens. I love the snow in the mountains (skiing!!!), but down here it just sucks! I got an estimate for $4,000 just to fix mine, and the Jeep was moving 2-3 mph. Lithia said that I hit the Jeep in the worst spot possible. They aren't designed to take and impact from the front corners. They had an 05 on the lot that hit in the same spot, just going 10 mph. The entire front end was moved over to the right.

Yeah, but then he still has cracked paint, but I guess he could take some touch-up paint and cover it. If it were mine I would probably sand it down, repaint and then throw some clear coat, but I tend toward the anal-retentive with things like this, even if it is only plastic...

Bummer....been there.

An ARB will fix you right up and then they will be the ones crying

I had one of those huge Ranch Hand bumpers on my Bronco and some girl smacked it very similar to that in the parking lot. Her Civic probably had over $2k in damage and I think I might of found a scratch on my bumper....maybe.

I had a ding like that on my rear bumper (2005 grey plastic). I got the body shop to heat it up and pop it out for me when I brought the jeep in for *other body work.

*Other body work was replacing an entire door because some $#&*#$^#*-hole kicked it in - even left his shoe-print behind. At least your ding was probably an accident.
