2003 Libby, Sandy and I will be heading down on Friday afternoon and will be staying at the Motel 6. We should be there early enough to make it to the campground for the festivities. The video sounds awesome. We'll probably bring beer, dogs, rolls and stuff, plus lunch for Sat. be it steakums or burgers.

Got me a reservation at the Motel 6 too. Not sure what time we'll get down there on Friday yet but we may head over to the campground to check out the party over there. So I'll be meeting at the Sheetz then. Nate, video idea is AWESOME.

So if Chris does steakumms, somebody still needs to bring buns, chips, cheese, condiments, cold salads (macaroni or potato), plates, utensils etc. I was thinking of bringing some soup. I've got a pretty powerful little camp stove to heat it up on. Don't know how cold it will be by then, but soup could be just the thing to lessen the chill in everybodys bones. As Nate said also, maybe we should have one person coordinating the food and such. Does anyone want to volunteer? You would need to keep track of what everybody is bringing and make sure we don't forget something. Would suck if nobody brought napkins right?

There will be two flattop grills so that will probably be fine. Anybody else? Chips, sodas, condiments etc.?

Good job Sandie. As David pointed out, there will be at least two grills there so we could do burgers/dogs after all. If someone wants to bring some dogs/patties, as well as what Sandie mentioned above, let us know what you would like to bring (That`s Hot Dogs...no grilling someones pet...).

let's see,

I will bring my "doggy" otto, my "buns " of steel, my irish friend "pattie", and I promise not "dessert" on the trial!!!

Enough of these "cheesey" jokes, I will bring the cold salads.

Potatoe and macaroni? or slaw? A pound or two of both?

Let me know!

Al

We're confirmed at the Motel 6, plan to check in around 4:00 and then find the campsite. I guess guests are welcome. Sandy and I will bring 2lbs of potato salad and 2lbs of coleslaw to add to what Al or others are bringing if that works. We also will be bringing dogs and rolls as mentioned in a former post, but I don't know how many we'll need.

Randy

p.s. I wonder if Jeep Magazine would have any interest in our endeavors?
