I've been running with the MAF disconnected for the last three weeks and decided this morning to check the codes. I get the expected P0102 but also get P1265 - "Cylinder #5 High To Low Side Short"
This doesn't make sense on a 4 cyl so I searched the forum and found this thread relating to P1265

The thread is suggesting possible glow plug failure if the EGR is stuck open but this is contrary to the purpose of disconnecting the MAF.
Has anyone else had glow plug issues after disconnecting the MAF sensor?
