This happened last week when Colorado saw its first big snow storm of the season. I hit some black ice in the parking lot while parking (2-3 mph) and I slid into a 94 Isuzu Trooper. $4,000 worth of damage to the Jeep. The collision shop said that I hit the weakest part of the Jeep. They had an 05 Liberty hit in the same spot, just going 10 mph. The entire front end was shifted to the right and smashed a good foot in. At least I can get an ARB bumper now! Oh yeah, the Isuzu has a dent in both of the doors.

Why would jeep make the front corner the weakest part of the vehicle?? Hope everyones okay. I know 2 - 3 mph isn't much but its enought to scare the bejesus out of you.

I would, but they took everything off to get an estimate, and the actual medal bumper is dented pretty bad. It's now going to be $3,700 to repair. I still have my new brush guard up for sale - $375. Let me know!
