I did a mod with a lift pump and bleeder and want to know if anyone is interested in instruction and parts list.

Note: I had to vote to see the poll results and have to cancel my 1 yes vote from the results.

I certainly would Sam. I have a couple of years to go on my extended warranty but I have also experienced the fuel starvation event once that some call the "Limp" and would like to not experience it again. I would also like to eliminate the possiblity of a dry pump and a $3K bill sometime in the future. Seems liek your $100 solution fixes that. I would like it to be easily reversible and dealer undetectable.

That's the beauty of this mod, nothing is cut and goes back to stock quickly if you need to go in for warrenty work. Another benefit of this mod is it keeps the stock fuel filter full. Should help with the cat filter mod to keep it full. I also heard that a lift pump can keep you going when the CP3 low pressure pump fails.

I have to say, you have a good idea here. At first I was against the idea of a lift pump, but with the return to tank from the filter head preventing high inlet pressure to the CP3, that's not a threat.

Absolutely, and it keeps the air in the tank where it belongs.

I like the idea of this set-up. I will probobly install it in about 6 months when my warrenty runs out.

Question- Does the Facet 40109 lift pump allow the factory pump to "pull" fuel through it in the event of a failure?

Yes it does. There is a few other Facet pumps available with lower pressure as the 40109 but this one is working well for me.

I'm going to take pictures tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to draw up instruction with parts list. This is where I got mine.
