So what if instead of having the zert bleed screw where it was we had some fitting that screwed in, and then was attached to some kind of clear hose(would need to be diesel safe and make a good seal with the fitting so as not to make things worse), and that hose would then have a valve in it at the end, if you ran a short length of hose up a little bit you would be able to see air collecting at the highest point.
Basically you could see when you had a lot of air built up or how quickly air built up.
Other thoughts on something similar? Maybe a "bulb" above the head?(gets tight for room above it real quick)
I'm essentially talking about something that would let you see the amount of air building up before it built up in the head and caused problems.
I already did that with a check valve to the return

The setup I have you can see thru the tube of the bleeder kit from lube specialist hooked to a check valve and to the return. Not only can you quickly check it, but you can bleed it and see it clear before your eyes. I went a step further and added a lift pump so now it keep itself bleed by it self. I can do the whole setup in less that an hour that's including with the lift pump. I will be posting all about it in less than a week with pictures.

As far as I can tell without seeing pics of your setup yours is less of just a visual indicator and more of an actual system change, I was mostly just talking about something quick easy and cheap that you could pop to hood to peek at once a week.
