I will say a big "Hi" for you when were there :lol:

So why is that they say skinny tyres are better for sand but at the same time you must air down to widen your tread :roll:

I normally start at 15 for stockton.
But depends how soft it is.
Have aired down to 10 before :shock:

Well I'm back and my tan has gotten darker :lol:

Happy to report the shovel stayed in the shovel holder and the snatch straps were never used.

Geeee, that was a quick trip to Stockton & back! Thought you would've made a long week end of it.......... Maybe finished off with a tour through the Wattagans' on your way back to Sydney??

Thanks again for a good day out Ed, other than a near head on at the exit it was an care free day. It's hard to stop when your doing 40k's in what seemed to be one lane with a Partol doing the same comming your way :shock: . Got me a little worried as Ed said don't stop on the exit as you will get bogged :lol:

Now that I remember, we did have one problem. I followed Ed up a dune & when it seemed like I wasn't going anywhere I gunned it. It was like some one stood out side Karen's window with a few buckets of sand & threw them into the front :shock: Totally unexpected, I'm sure I got a fright. Every thing in the front was covered with sand, thus my front window wouldn't work for 1/2 the day untill the sand had worked it's way past the switch.

I took one of my old skate boards along in the hope that it would slide on the sand. At our first stop there was a steep hill that looked like it should do the job. Once at the top I realised that I didn't want to kill my self so I had a go at something not so steeeeeeeeep.

It went well & was more fun than I though, that was the better of the 2 short vids my wife took. Next time I will take the wheels of my long board & give that a go. This board's length is between a normal board & a long board.

LOL yes the first dune we decided to go up and you get a shovel full of sand in your window :lol:
The dune climbs towards the end were fun some really soft churned up stuff there :oops:

Yes, that last one that we both had 2 go's at was good. Next time we go we will have to checkout the bowl :twisted: , watching that is.
