My name is Bill, I'm Ron's oldest son. I felt it only right to inform the L.O.S.T. forum that Ron passed away this mornin' from a sudden heart attack. He was a good man, only 48 years old. He smoked cigs and ate plenty of sausage but never drank or used drugs. He Loved his family and never did anyone wrong. He always looked forward to browsing this forum and he loved his liberty. I will probably browse from time to time to help me grieve so if you see his handle just remember a good man, loving husband, and father L.O.S.T.

If you are his son then you know what he was like, from what him and I discussed on here and with PMs I knew he loved his family very much!

He was very knowledgeable on vehicles and I was thinking of driving down to surprise him in a few weeks or so just to put the name to a face.

He will always be remembered on here and please do keep in touch from time to time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. If you need anything from us please do not be afraid to ask!

Take care

Tom

Bill

my condolences to you and your family.

It is amazing how we feel like we know people that we've only seen on on postings.
but I've lost a friend I never got a chance to meet.

Your dad will be missed.

I don't even know what to say...hard to reason why someone so young would be taken so early...but I am sure that the things he taught you will stick with you for the rest of your life and he will carry on thru your family. Prayers are with you...

I am sorry for your loss. He is still teaching even now as this will give me more motivation to quit cigs and sausage. Prayers are with you.

Wow...I have always found Ron's posts to be very informative and non comabative...in the spirit of why this forum was started to begin with.

I offer my condolences to you and the rest of the "lilredlibby" family and a I will miss reading Ron's posts...hopefully one of you "kids" will take up his libby and stay around here.

Your father was a brilliant man when it came to the Libby, and I'm sure many other things. His knowledge and insight will definately be missed.
