088888 on the odo!

That's what my odo read when I pulled into the driveway tonight! Looks like a digital display check more than actual mileage! :shock:

Anyway, anyone else out there got any high mileage kjs?

My 02 has 96,500 on it or therebouts. I don't remember who, but somebody's got close to 200k on theirs.

Funny thing was, when I jumped in the Jeep at work I thought, hmmm, on the way home it'll flip over to all 8s, that's gonna be kinda cool. Then I forgot about it (long day) and since I only run with the tripmeter on, not the odo, I didn't give it another thought till I turned off the ignition. Then, there it was!

It's hard to remember those major milestones on the odometer. I'm not even close to high mileage yet (still at 64K miles) but congratulations!

why does yours go up to 150 mph while ours only up to 120? That sucks.. I wonder if it is because they use the same thing on all metric dashes.

Like it matters,your limited to 114mph anyway,been there once and that was enough(I always top speed test all of my vehicles at least once,my '75 Cutlas was fun,by the math it topped out at 184mph :shock:

,speedo only went to 120 also ).

Um yeah, I was wondering HTH he was doing 100 MPH at only about 2000 RPM then I noticed it was KM/h not MPH. :lol:

No miles here, wife has just over 17k on her 04 and I have about 42K on my 03.

i hit 200km in my jeep on the freeway once. Think it could have gone a bit more but traffic was coming up.

I have pictures some where of the 95 Cherokee hitting 99,999.9 and then 200,000 and 250,000 almost got ran over when I stopped in the middle of the road to take the 99,999.9 one :lol:

Yeah, I was bummed when I hit 123456 and I was on the freeway. No chance for a pic. I'm somewhere north of 142000 now.
