I plan on putting this in the rear diff. when I change it.
According to the site, it already has the Slip-Lock Diff. Additive in it.
For those of you that have used this, (and did not add additional additive) did you notice chatter?
It seems some rears don't need the extra additive.
I'd like this to also be an unofficial poll so that we can compare how different vehicles respond.
TIA,
Bruno.....

Used the Amsoil SG 75w140 since the first rear diff change. Didn't add any additive since the '06 8.25 axle is not a limited slip design.

I got an 05 CRD and used the same oil not too long ago. Im pretty sure that it does NOT include anti slip additive. Anti slip additive comes in a white bottle. Just ask JJsKJ, he's the fluid guy on the forum.

You're right, the anti slip additive is separate product. I deal in the stuff.

If I read your signature correctly yours was made in May of 06. The 06 models have ESP standard and limited slip was not available on ESP equiped models

yes .. be sure you don't have trac -loc ( I have an 05 CRD and don't, but that doesn't mean you don't)

either there is a tag on the rear axle or you'll see it in your build sheet

My Trac-Lock wanted the additive. It was fine at first but started chattering after a few hundred miles.
