So yes Al did test his a lot, that is his version of the lift, agree with that completely, but from what I am seeing and reading this is different in some ways than Als so it has not been tested a lot since it is different, ie. new and different parts.

Someone just go buy the kit ( each piece separately since its cheaper  ) and put it on and let us know.

I will wait for the results !

the same rings true with aftermarket products.

its called economics.

Al is not rubicon express or superlift, who, by the way promised us a lift and didn't deliver. at least Al did!

CRY BABIES ????? :? :? :? I think everyone that has been around for a while remembers what some went through with previous lifts that did not preform as they should have. IMO I think this has been a good discussion about the lift and what could/would or maybe down the road. I dont see Cry Babys at all! But if I fork over 2/3000 dollars I want a great product. Some on here dont even want to go and buy a coil lift due to costs but do we call them cry babys ..NOPE

What has happened to this whole site lately? Coming up on full moon or what??

Tom said that and will continue to!

But who here has a spare $3k laying around (that isn't already dedicated to a SFA project  )? If I still had my KJ, 1. I would wait till the 6" kit was also available to decide which one to get and 2. Have to have a looong talk with my wife about spending that much on the Jeep (she gives me crap now over how much I've sunk into the LJ). I'm sure that others are in a similar situation so it may be a while before someone actually goes out and buys this kit, even if they really want it NOW.

David,
I agree I was trying to be funny but I forgot you cant do that anymore here! I dont have that kind of KJ $$$ either to just go do it to see how it works. My wife doesnt understand spending money on a vehicle that runs just fine the way it is! But again I know someone will buy it soon and more power to them. I look at all of this as more things to help even those of us with small 2.5 inch lifts in the long run!

I will tell all of you something...it is getting very tiresome monitoring this site for the Admins and Mods. Stop the insults...if someone says something is too expensive, that is a very subjective statement. If you think it is not expensive, post something that illustrates the other side. It is also ok to ignore something and move right past it...trying to prove you are right for all the wrong reasons is just childish. Also try to read into the post and see if someone is just trying to be funny or humerous. Don't jump the gun on every occasion. On the other hand watch HOW you say something...be carefull that it can't easily be easily misinterpreted by another L.O.S.T. member.

It is ridiculous that a few here spend hours a day breaking up internet fights over what should be informative threads.

If this keeps happening every day all day...I guess we will just have to banning users. What a PITA :!: I think I am going to take some time off of this forum ... spent the last three days messin' with this crap ... it has finally got old :!: When it stops being fun, there is no reason to be here...

Say, I'm looking out my window and a hot woman is walking by........

Oh wait, she has a 4" lift. Close enough for those F-Me Pumps. Hate to see her trying to walk by in a 6" lift. I would be tempted to make a purchase.

Sorry, I didn't get the intended humor. (General tone of this thread got in the way. ) But you're right, SOMEONE WILL BUY IT. Hopefully they can report back with good results :)

I want to know more about this clearancing on the CV joints. I seem to remember that was a major limiting factor and why other lifts on the market did not go higher. Those $1200 struts wont be worth crap if you are blowing CV joints every time you hit the trail.

Can't you get an already modded CV joint's or is it just a stronger one. I can't rememberwhere but I'm sure I've seen it written on other threads.

i remember seeing the same thing. After looking for it though i can only find a link to je reel which doesnt work anyway. An as far as the arguing goes look at it like this. With the exception of people like seth that get paid to do this stuff the majority of us are regular people making around probably 50 or 60k a year. Now factor in thr cost of a possibly tested lift; theres still nothing showing that this NEW one is tested; add the lets say 20 grand that the vehicle costs. An after all said and done most are going to be a bit aprehensive about money and possible issues that are there. I know i personally dont want to take the chance on something like that. This truck is my main driver and if its toast so am i........ no school, no work and no drill.

The lift is basically what I have and it performs great off road, been to Paragon & Rausch Creek. The link extention is what I have in a crude form and it aligns the driveshaft, no need for another driveshaft for the 4" lift. The strut assys are much more high tech. than what I have and I'm going to upgrade to them shortly, also the new A arms have a much tighter fitting rubber boot over the ball joints then mine but I have never had a problem with mine but would like to go to the new ones when I put the struts in. There's alot more coming but testing takes time and this stuff works on the trail. Joe

pictures and measurements like from the middle of the wheel to the bottom of the flair front and back just curious, know it sounds strange but thats the way they told me at ARB to measure mine
