To be fair my only communication has been with Paul Hinder, who apparently is on "Holiday." I have not had any communication with Mark Hale other than the general email he sent out a while ago to everyone. I'm not sure what their respective roles are in all this but from now on I guess I need to direct my emails to the both of them.

Ed- Samco told me we would not be able to get a direct group buy from them even on the initial run, however Paul did say they will provide us with a recommended vendor, I suppose this means that we will arrange an initial group buy with the vendor. While that all may be premature pillow talk, Im not sure how to handle it for the few aussies that may want in, so far I think you are the only one here that has shown interest that is from AUS. Either you guys need to setup your buy in from a local supplyer, or just have us ship a batch of them to you(gets pricey to send those units).

I guess it depends what price you can get locally for them, but if its anything like the markup I see on other things it would be financially viable to just post ship them from the US.

Yeah I think you guys sending it down here via USPS would be best.
I'm sure I can string together a few guys down here for the groupy 8)
See how it progresses I guess.

Any idea on the numbers you could drum up down under? That ausjeepoffroad site seems pretty dead, but that doesnt mean there aren't lurkers or others out there.

Any idea if the 2.5 in the older KJs uses the same boost hoses? I guess a simple comparison of part numbers might tell us.

Rough guess would be 3-4.
We did get about 8 people in on the amsoil air filter I organised but not all of them were CRD's.

I'll take one of the outlet hoses when they are ready!

My guess is they will only be sold in sets of 2.

My guess though.

I'll keep you in mind for the Oz list.

I'm assuming these still aren't ready? My top hose just split today...it'd be nice to fix it right, rather than going back to the stealer for warranty repair and get the same part again, subject to the same oil contamination failure, etc....

Nope, not ready, samco hasnt quite had them for a full week yet.

If you have a warrantee then go ahead and just em replaced for free, its for those without warrantee that it sure does suck

For these hoses, wouldn't it be that it "blows"? :D

Count me in on a set of these hoses as well. Right now, gotta go pull the ECM and get it in the mail to Oregon.

Dont worry, I think we will be setting up a group buy from a samco recommended vendor, samco is not willing, or does not sell direct, only through a vendor.

Looks like Samco will have a very nice initial run! I'm working on a DIY crankcase filter to keep the oil out of the hoses -- once that's in place, new CC hoses and a good IC flush.

When the time gets closer there will be a group buy thread. Here in a day or two I will email Samco and see how it progresses, I dont need to nag them endlessly when they have only had a week to work on the hoses.

They probably have not even looked at the hoses
If my hoses blow before I get the silicon's then I'm out.
Will just end up getting custom aluminium piping done.
