It's almost here! Cannot wait. Sounds like a few new faces (to me anyway) will be joining us this year. Looking forward to meeting you!
First off.. I'd like to use this thread to get a headcount. I want to make sure I have enough "tricks and treats" for everyone.
OK.. Details.
The date of the trail ride is October 20th and we are doing the Crown King Trail. Mike & I among others will be camping at Lake Pleasant Friday & Saturday evening. It is a large campground so search out the Jeeps as it would be nice to try and camp in the same vicinity. For those unable to camp with us, we will be meeting Saturday morning at the intersection of Hwy 74 and Castle Hot Springs at 8:30. Please try to be prompt as it is a long trail. Upon getting off the trail we will be having a chili feed back at the campground. Please bring enough chili to feed you and your passengers. Don't worry about making homemade, Hormel works too. We mix it all in one large pot and it always turns out great! Also if you could bring an easy side such as crackers, shredded cheese, nacho chips, etc. We will provide the dinnerware. Lastly..What's Halloween without costumes? Hoping you all either put yourselves, your vehicle, or both into costume. Stretchy has hers ready and I even have a same theme costume for our dog. If Skube can do it so can you.

See you there!!

I'm in for one and camping friday and saturday.

One clarification- We will be meeting at the closest intersection of 74 and castle hot springs road to I-17. Not the other intersection of 74 and castle hot springs road closest to the Wickenburg highway.

I'm in. Might not camp since I live something like 20 minutes from there but I'll stick around for the chili. Also, I talked a coworker of mine, Jerry, into joining us. He will be driving his own rig.

Well, looks like all the usual suspects with a few newer folks added in. I'm glad you've got that big pot to put the chili in Tammy 8)

A friend and I are planning on bringing the ATVs on saturday just for a day trip. We will try to meet you all at the meeting place, unless we park the trailer further up the road. Either way, you will see us at some point.

I see no mention of where to meet friday for the camping thing. Wondering what events are happening friday that i could attend if i cant make it saturday. I had to travel for work this week and it hosed my plans, just trying to catch up on the power curve of life here.....

ATHF costume is still only vaperwear =( but it all could change if i can get my butt out of here (work) and pick my private life up and get it on the rails again.

So unfortunately yull have to put me down on the roster at the moment as a maybe... will communicate better details b4 it all goes down....

Well, I hate to do it but I'm gonna have to back out for ToJ. Between losing my front propeller shaft and running my cell phone thru the washer and dryer last weekend was a costly one for me. I'll be thinking of you when I'm at work

Have fun!

I'm also bailing. Sorry. The fuel pump on one of the ATV's decided it had enough and I am not about to wheel my DD considering my current situation.
