I actually ordered it online, I couldn't find it anywhere near me. Just google it, then select products from the drop down. Just a heads up, if you don't clear it the lights look really dull.

I thought you were against it. I remember your post somewhere here where you said you liked them original and not like cheap import. I guess you realized it looks good that way. I went with clear corners instead of black, but black looks good too, of course that depends on how much it lights up. Can you post a picture with them with parking light and with signals on. KJ has blind spots and the signals are already not as visible as they should be, so I don't want to blacken anything. Only if we could get side blinkers.

Yeah I still don't know if I'm a huge fan or not. They look great on your KJ, but I just don't like clears in general. They actually light up great at night, I switched to a higher output yellow blub and you can see fine in the day.

Looks awesome. If you got some black wheels and tinted those front windows, you'd have one absolutely evil looking KJ. 8)

Yeee Haw! Get black wheels man. Incredible. If I send you mine can you do it for me!? Or can you sell me those! :) You can make a business.
I have euro tail lights, that are red and black on the sides, I wanted to tint it complete RED or complete Black.

Anyway, could you post a picture with them lighted up?

Thanks for the comments guys.

Basically what you do is:
1.) Lightly sand the surface so the paint will adhere.
2.) Spray the nightshades in thin coats, allowing 10-15 minutes in between coats ("flash" time).
Optional) Sand down with 2000 grit
3.) Let dry overnight.
4.) Spray clear in thin coats, allow the flash time depending on what clear your using.
5.) Let sit overnight, or bake.
Optional) Wet sand clear with 2000 grit and polish them out.

Thanks for the comment guys. Tinted windows are happening mid Nov. I haven't decided what I'm going to do for wheels. I really don't want to pay $80 to have new ones mounted so I'm stuck.

I like it, looks great! I think the black wheels would look pretty sick. You could always paint 'em.

Sure, give me some time though I'm at college now. They light up perfect, very visible both front and back.

I've got some question about the process when you get some time.

Did you remove the lights before you painted them or just tape it off?

Did you just paint the factory lights with the nightshades, or did you buy the clear corners and then paint them?

Thanks.

I have had my front turns, rear lights including high mount brake done for over 3 years and 90000 miles, have driven in 23 states and no problems at all, can see them at night very well and I used the nite-shades paint, took all signals / etc out and painted them. I also make sure to wax them good with every was and it keeps them in good shape. It did mke the back up lights somewhat dimmer but then they are crap to begin with.
