I just read the trail info on slaughterhouse and china wall. They sound fun. Pretty sure I am still able to make the 6th work.

FWIW, 8 months ago I heard that Hackett Gulch and Longwater Gulch were still closed from the Hayman Fire. As far as China Wall and/or Slaughterhouse Gulch, I've looked them up and they look like they would be a blast. Can't wait!

Rock Lizard, do you think you'll make it? Anyone have some friends that want to go no matter what they drive? www.traildamage.com tends to under-rate their trails so I prefer to use the rating on www.4x4trails.net.

Would these trails be all right for a stock ZJ and a novice off roader?

From the sounds of it nobody has done these yet. All I can tell you is what the reviews said.

So far so good. I'm in Colorado Springs now, found a house today. Not 100%, but I am pretty sure.

Any chance there's room in one or two rigs for an extra person or two. My buddy and I were hoping to join you guys, but my KJ has no armor and I'm not confident enough off road to go for it. I'd be happy to contribute whatever I need to.

There will be room. Don't sweat it...we'll find a place for you (even if you have to sit with my dog in the backseat  ).

Thanks Skyjump. We certainly don't want to impose, though, so so if there's not room, we just need to know in advance. Otherwise, count me and a buddy in for the 6th.

Nick

I don't want to offer up anybody else's KJ here, but generally we have two or three folks that come solo or at least have the backseat wide open. I'm sure they'll chime in sooner or later. We'll get you out there.

You guys kick booty...

So did you all decide on China Wall or Slaughterhouse? (You can't spell slaughter without laughter)

Where do you guys find the descriptions of the runs and directions to the TH?

Thanks, guys. I'm looking forward to this...

Hey Jetson, My wife is undecided on wether she is going to come, so I may have 1-2 empty seats depending if I bring the kids or not.

OK, what trail are we doing?

Also are we going to have enough members to show to discuss club issues at the dinner after, or during lunch? I still think we should try to get more organized. Does anyone know if the west bylaws and guides are still posted as templates? I tried to open them a while back, but what can I say, my computer is a POS HP! and it would not open them to print.

So what do you all say?

Most of all, is this all right with you Pete?

This all sounds great. I'm up for just about anything and I, also, would like to see us discuss getting more organized. I may have a backseat open but you'd have to share it with a beagle puppy. Slaughterhouse Gulch and China Wall seem to be the trails we're going on unless someone knows better. And as far as people, this is what we have:

GOING:
KW AV8R
USAFCOP
Skyjump 136
broncsrule
jetson
Rock Lizard

DOESN'T KNOW:
RespectMyLibertay
gundrted

NOT GOING:
TokyoJoe

Is there anyone else that wants to go? Can we hear from all those people that said they were interested in off-roading elsewhere in this forum, even if it's a "sorry, can't make it this time."

I'd consider going but all I have is a stock KJ with the skid plates.

I actually am in the process of ordering the Frankenlift Kit and boulder bars from All J today. If they come in a reasonable amout of time I should be able to get the boulder bars installed by then but I have never installed a lift kit and would probably have to find help for that.

So I guess what I am saying is that I'd like to go but don't know if I would be able to take my vehicle on the trails.
