All J no longer has a super skid, Rusty's no longer has the engine/transmission plate, MOPAR is not making them any more...

Skid row has them, but they are expensive!

Are there any other options? You Rock Lizard guys gonna make something to fill the void? I'm finally ready to buy, & the whole market goes away!!! :x

If your waiting on me, your going backward.

I actually do have something in mind. It will be based off of my SFA belly pan, just without the control arm mounts. It will be a complete replacement crossmember, with removable sections that cover the TCase and the Engine/Tranny area to the front crossmember. Also have a front skid on the "list" since you can't get those from Skid Row anymore either. All this will be in my "Tortoise Skids" lineup when it comes out. Hope your not in a big hurry, because as mentioned, I'm slammed right now. Just one of those products coming in '08.

Which year did you need it for? Last time I was up at All J's they still had some of the earlier ones IIRC.

I believe he needs one for a 2003. At least that's what his topic says.

Yup, a 2003. the web site says they have 4 left, but they actually have none.

darn, you're gonna force me to buy skids twice. I need whatever I can get right now but, I know I'll probably need new ones by the time yours are available (I'll order early this time ;) ) Again, thanks for producing stuff for our grocery-gettin' chick Jeeps.

Dunno. They didn't have the hardware for the one they do have left and would have had it all together tomorrow. I ordered a Skid Row front skid but was tempted to pick up the tranny skid too. Just don't have the $$$ for both, plus the money for the repairs needed right now.

Just called AllJ and got lucky and got the last one. They said they were all out a couple of weeks ago, but I'm glad they had one more for whatever reason... I'll get it next Monday when I'm down there for my Frankenlift.

I spoke with the All J staff this morning and had it on order bright and early, then realized that it was the tranny skid and I need the front skid. I canceled the order and am having them ship me a Skid Row front skid so I don't experience this again....

It's going into the shop tomorrow for repairs. Can't wait to get the libby back on the road. I'm tired of driving that crappy little festiva. The only redeeming quality is the gas milage. 36+ MPG, but I'd still rather drive my libby!

The ladies at All J were all VERY friendly and great to talk to. It was fun to tease them about the STRONG CANADIAN DOLLAR! 1.035 to a green back. Here's a Canadian dollar. Which one of you chaps wants to serve me breakfast? HAHAHAHA! J/k "ya'll"
