Wow, Google Earth updated imagery

Not that we can go there right now, but I was roaming around in GE tonight and found that the images for the Coke Ovens/Cochran area have been updated. The area around Florence is still low-res, but all the important stuff is hi-res now

Here's a comparison of what it used to look like to what it shows today. I had to re-create the low-res look, but you get the idea:

Guess I'll go snoop around some more :wink:

IIRC it is the private land owner who has requested that no one enter the property, has the state also closed some areas out there? I haven't been out there in a few months but I've been trying to keep up with what the state, feds and greenies are doing with access out that way. Sounds like a trip to Box Canyon is needed
