Maybe..... My poor XJ is showing signs of trouble and it needs some down time and attention. I have been wheeling & DD-ing it since August and it needs a break. If I only knew when I would have my KJ back?

the trail is really close to the Gorman area. Never running it before I don't know what the run time would be...but I'm guessing around 5 hours..I could be wrong. I'm thinking on meeting early, like about 8 and leave for the trail at 830

Trail good.
Date no good.

But I'll post if that changes, as things are doing on a daily basis right now. I'd sure like to go. Anyway, have fun you guys. Take pics.

Speaking of pics, I'll be posting one of me on my side last Saturday. I was in the Wrangler at the notch on Cleghorn. Probably had to happen sometime. I suffered brain damage. Wait, maybe I had that before.

Los Padres NF, Mt. Pinos Ranger District Road and Trail Closures:
Call Chuchupate Ranger Station at (661) 245-3731 for more information.

10/29/2007 at 2pm: "Probably" closed until resources return from fires, and rain brings down the level.

Hey Ben..thanks for the heads up. I just checked and we will have to cancel the Miller Jeep Trail run for now, the Forest is closed and will be for probabaly another 30 days, they are lacking resources at this time if another fire breaks out....so for now just hang tight and we will reschedule...thanks...Wally

I believe there is still the Thanksgiving Turkey Crawl weekend planned.

I am not sure I could go this weekend but I sure would love to. If not, I would be looking to make another trip out hat way in near future.
