ONLY ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION: You say you are already running something like 1,500 pounds of mods over stock on your rig, How Much weight will the linex, or what ever, add to the body and it's stress points? It will help deaden some more road noise from those meats you have.

I dont know how much you would need to cover an entire vehicle, but I read a weight on one of them of 10lbs/gallon.

Also take a look at durabak. I dont know if you can get custom tints or not but they have an orange that looks kinda close to what you have. (they will send samples) It can be sprayed, does not need to be mixed, other than thinning if you spray it, UV resistant, can be repaired, and you are allowed more than one coat. THe military uses Line-X,durabak isn't that good of stuff,flakes off after a while.The stuff I use has held up awesome even after 5 years,sprays on a little thinner but still works really well for what I want it to do.And with the tintable stuff I can tint it almost any color.

To do the orange part of my KJ would take about 5 qts(just to be safe) and is 2 lbs per qt(looking at the wieght on the black kit I have sitting right next to me) so a total of 10lbs of added wieght.

I also wonder what a total rough surface will do to you gas milage?

It would be a total pain in the rear to spot it,lots of taping then spraying and retaping and spraying then hope the 2 are even coats.

As far as gas mileage is concerned I can't get any worse then the 8-11mpg's I average now(all city driving up/down).

Troy doesn't have the answers for your rack, and I've been dealing with a flu bug the last two days. Hard to get in the shop when you can't get 10 feet from the toilet. Trying to catch up with all the emails, so I'll get to your email in a little bit. :wink:
