Quick question.

Is it possible to use the weight of the KJ to change out the shocks and springs? Meaning instead of using a strut compressor to disassemble the strut, is it possible to use the vehicle as the press and slowly and gently disasemble the strut?

Just sitting here bored and ordered a lift kit and now looking to save some cash on an install.

WHAT HAVE I DONE?

that depends, how much do you value your life, or you bean bag for that matter. If that spring shoots out or something is just little off center trying to compress the spring. A whole lot bad is going to happen really quick.....interesting thought though.

If you have ever tried to compress the spring then you know that while it may be possible, I would not try it. Now if you really like excitement and running from things bouncing around in your garage then go for it, just send video after you get back out of the hospital.
So the answer is no
