My wife and I have decided to give geocaching a try. She has friends at work that do it. That being said we needed a name for our geocache account and our names are Karen and Jason so we went with KJcachers. I get the alternate meaning without even trying! SCORE! 8)

I am L.O.S.T.JJsKJ on Geocaching.com. A few of the LOST folks on here used L.O.S.T. in their names on the site.

Here they're a $25 application fee, and $15 registration fee. So $40 to get them and then $40 per year to keep them. It does change you renewal to December though. That's why I'm waiting until December to pick mine up even though they've been sitting there for a couple weeks. Otherwise I have to pay registration now, and then again in a month.

Couldn't resist when my registration came around either... I was surprised it wasn't taken already.

This might be a teaser pick too... Fun in the Sun Run coming up in January - picture your Jeep here!

phxtoad,
what kind of basket is that on your KJ? looks like it is recessed down inside the crossbars and would be perfect for my needs.

Sorry the personalized tags are so pricey in your area Unlimited. That sucks! They're a dime-a-dozen in Virginia. Almost everyone has them here. I have mine because...well, I love driving...

dog party,
Next time I get down your way we need to get the twins together and take some pics. I might even drag a kayak along for the cool factor! BTW, I use to live in Newport News and worked in VA Beach before I moved up this way in 2001.

Good plates JJ, from memory they also cost a great deal Downunder. + every year they sting you again just for having them. I'd also go the LOST KJ if I was to pay the extra each year, or CDKJ 05.

I'm done with my "DIRTY KJ" plate (CA) and now that I have it registered in NC I applied for "ESC :WQ!" (so much you can do with uppercase letters).

Figure it's in the spirit of "quit your work and go enjoy some rocks and mud, dang it!"

I've been thinking of getting some for the longest time, but it's a one time fee of $235 here... ouch. When I finally come up with the right one though I'll probably go for it.

Just for fun I just tried GETNLOST, but it's not available :-( I would have bought it if it was!

An idea for people in other states/provinces though!

Dave

I still want to try SUX-2BU one more time. After all after getting REPRB8 (Reprobate) approved and taking great joy out of looking in my rear veiw mirror , only to see a Pi$$ed off father as his little girl riding shotgun tried to decipher what my plate read. I'm not a strong beleiver in robing young children of there innosence. On the contrary I encorage keeping the young informed of the many OZ books, in Wonderland, and other places of innosecne and denial of reality. The loss of Child hood is the loss of growing into the MAGICAL world of life. Wheather it be Dorthy in OZ, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and his LOST boys. All these adventures are what makes growing up magical, lets not deprive our yougsters of the magic of childhood and allow them the magic of growing up. That is one of the biggest problems is allowing our children to grow and enjoy their imagination. stop the street education and supply new avenues for our children to learn. 8)
