Team J.a.G has grown 50mm tonight. Just got back from my mechanic with 50mm lift in place.....OME shocks & King springs......Thanks STUCRD.....Still having rubbing issues on full lock on the front of the wheel arch though............Now looking forward to the next run ( when ever that is ) to try out the new clearance level. Felt some what different driving home on the highway, good firm but still comfortable ride. :D :D

You should find the ride much better than standard, just let it all settle down a little and "Bobs your Uncle" All's well.

Well..........went for a run with Gold Coast Landrover Club yesterday up to tracks off Upper Ormeau. Good day generally, the lift proved to be invalueable(though made a lot of moaning & metallic groaning transversing the wash outs). The nudge bar now has war scars from deeper wash outs.....meet some nice people......(including Red XJ). However the day was marred as we were returning to the highway at the end of the day, I caught the end of a fallen branch with front driver,s wheel arch.............took it straight off including the lining also leaving deep abrasions on the lower panel of the r/h/s passenger door where in came to rest.. .. Must say it's not a good look for the KJ. Will post pic's soon.

darn that looks bad. Hope you get it fixed ASAP.
Try Jeepart Recyclers to see if they have same colour flares.

I bought my CV + shaft from them pretty good to deal with.

Sorry to see the KJ like that.
Good time to look at some tube flat fenders. Now that would be different.
Hope it all works out well.

Found some video of the day on AJOR.
http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/sho ... hp?t=72977

Good to see the KJ taking on the hard hills. The lift looks sweet in the video. I hope the KJ gets returned to its former glory quickly and not too expensively. It looked like a great day out. (apart from the damage)

It will be a few weeks before the KJ is back to its' former glory...........insurance claim has been approved but I will suffer a set back to rating 2 (Suncorp).......will have to be a lot more careful on selecting any future off road runs where sticks might jump out and bite unsuspecting KJ's
