I suggest a tripod if you have one. Makes all the difference in the world over hand held camnera...you can use available light and keep the shutter open longer for much better exposures...the reason they are blurry now is 1. not enough available light which forces the automatic setting to keep the shutter open longer even with flash...and 2. hand held. The shutter is staying open a tad longer but hand shake is going to give you blur everytime...even if no tripod is available, set the camera on a steady surface and use the timer setting....just some basic tips...btw, you bumper is kickass!!!

alright the questions begin. first of all the bumper is what ive wanted from the begining. Dont get me wrong i think that a few companys make awsome bumpers but I hate how arb, rock lizard, and trailready have such square designs. the stock bumpers(02to04) are a perfect fit for the rest of the vehicle. They just need to be steel. Which is what your is and looks prety close to stock. Now how are you going to adress the problems for the 02 to 04 model? Like turn signals and grille? My next questions is about a winch? I notice that there is a hitch on the front of it. Is that ment to be a mount for a winch? Or is there a mounting position on the top of the bumper?

Send one to me and I'll take pictures to show how easy it is for an amatuer to install, beside, it would help sell them on this side of the USA. Gotta get the news out right?!? I'll send a 300 check. :)

Sorry to burst your bubble, guys, but $300 is the COST to make a bumper, not the price he's selling them for. The PRICE of the bumper is $650 ($725 if you want it painted). It can't be good for sales when everyone thinks something costs less than half as much as it really does... Unless everyone is paying with a credit card.

JHCRASH wrote:
Well its finally available,We are going to offer this bumper to the members of lost and maybe another forum for $650 until febuary 1st. It will then go up to $1000 so now is the time to buy guys. For that price the bumper will be raw if you want it painted it will be an additional $75 and i dont know a price on powder coat yet.

the weight is about 125 or so. It uses the holes existing on the bottom of the unibody (there are three) and you have to drill two holes on the top. As for the 02-04 I am trying to find some one local that wants one at cost($300) to let us fit them up so we know what to change as soon as this happens we will be good to go. So local boys chime in or even colorado boys that want to spend a weekend in utah chime in.

No bubble busrting here, I was refering to his offer for a local guy to test it, just letting him know that I'll test it for him on this side of the US if he'd like.

Gotcha. I guess that's what I get for skimming... And in that case, sign me up! I'm about 75 miles from Tooele. Too bad my KJ is about 1,075 miles from Tooele. I'm a car-less BYU freshman right now.

So is there a possibility to get it without the light holes or with just two light holes instead of 4? I like the looks of it. How is the strength of it you think? What are the specs on the material used?

C co crusaderI am just waiting for someone with the older body style to let me make the differences to get it to work. And I will be making a mount for winches that utilizes the reciever so you dont have to carry the extra weight all the time.

ryno And the price is ONLY $650 UNTIL Feb. 1st it then goes up to $1000 Just drive your kj to utah and well be good you need it anyway right :D

2006KJSPORT4x4 Yes the options you ask are deffinately doable just let me know what you want. It is mostly 3/16 and some 1/8 inch I will do a little strength test with it and post them for ya

Thanks for the comments guys all you earlier model owners it will be available soon I hope just need someone to commit to helping me out with a specimen. :D

Very nice, and a good deal as well. I'll take mine without the stinger and without the smaller light holes :D

You'll have to wait until after the holidays for a commitment from me, but I'm likin what I'm seeing.
