well your avatar is a little large and it kind of messes up the flow of the page ... nothing against Dio ... I've been to several concerts ( back in the day) .. but the width of 212 pixels is bigger than the 150 in the profile section when adding an avatar

that said .. I'd like to see the cost on these as well and I would not be concerned about color either ...

Do you think the rubbing will cause problems long term, or could some carefully applied cable ties move it slightly out of harms way ?

Forget the cable ties, we should be paying for something that fits.
After looking at the photos I reckon if they made the first riser (straight section from the compressor) at least 3/8" longer it will clear the air intake tube. There is plenty of clearance to the hood lining when closed.
Then make the first horizontal section about 3/8" or so longer and it will clear the intake air temp sensor plug.
These are protoypes so get them to make some changes. They should have similar clearances to the OEM hoses. Having said that the CAC to inlet manifold hose looks OK.
Just my 2 cents worth...

As a sidebar comment, my A/C hose (metal) running into the heat exchanger behind the intercooler is rubbed to a shine and has dug into the insulation of the hood with over 50K miles. It doesn't bother me but maybe the hose does no rub on the two rigs you tested it on due to the fitting of the fire blanket?

Still havent gotten the chance to test the hoses out again. soon though.

but the old mans jeep has the same issue with the ac line as you described, CATCRDs did not.

Update, heard back from samco today, they made a couple of comments about the fitment, I will report further on this after another set has been test fitted. That is all.

Update.

have them installed on the old mans jeep permanently now, overall they fit and cleared a little better than on CATCRDs, I have been talking with Samco and have sent them my latest report, now I wait to hear back from them. Also, for the life of me, I cannot see these thing bulge under pressure, they seem pretty strong!

Here are some more pictures to tantalize you guys.

If you're not running SEGR and are running ORM, push the orange locking tab in, then place the locked connector back in the MAF connector - it will just hang there, unconnected, protecting the MAF terminals from winter ambience.

Also, a family of field critters seems to have taken up winter residence in yer grille - I spotted the entrance there in one of the pics.................

I will never do that again, after getting water under the hood and having it short out the plug(can you say byebye drivability?) just resting there I would rather just leave it dangle.
