 Post subject: i hear a noise and dont know what it is.

i just got my jeep out of the shop after a week it did it before i put it in the shop but not this bad. on my way home it sounded like a tin can being crushed. it is in the front end of the jeep, when ever i go over a bump or put on the breaks hard it makes the noise and its driving me crazy what is it??

no not yet im thinking after i get one the noise will go away... i think it is a bad strut or something.

try greasing the swaybar bushings.

yes its cold but it did it in the summer to. and not to sound retarted or anything but im 18 and learning were exactly is the swaybar bushing??

Also check your lower ball joints on both front wheels.
