oh wow. I'm truly sorry for posting this story..I never thought it would bring up this much of an argument.

Some people should never reply to a thread...sometimes it's better to just read and observe, leave your comments to yourself and not try and boost your post count .

Again..Admins/L.O.S.T./Burchie/Darby/EVERYONE...sorry I posted this. It was an accident...everyone can claim what was the "cause" of it, but in the end everything turned out GOOD for me (MOST IMPORTANTLY) as far as health and well being goes and the KJ as well...which I lucked out on.

Drive safe everyone...I wont reply to this post anymore. Thanks.

Another atribute that comes with age is the ability to accept and understand critasizm and to learn how to spell (something I am still working on)

Sorry to offend you FasTRX, just was hoping to teach you to look at things a different way.

I’m laughing at how all this starts, no I wasn’t trying to argue. WoodysKJ my original comment to you probably should have been something more like, I just thought you were a little rough on the guy, but yes you’re right. When you hear about “weather related accidents” it’s simply a term the cops will use to say someone screwed up but we’re not pointing fingers. If a road gets too foggy, slow down, or pull off the road entirely so people behind you don’t run into you. If it’s too icy slow down. When we’re all off roading no one is going to say, man I wouldn’t have crashed into that tree if it wasn’t so muddy right?

I was on a motorcycle forum for a few years and everyone would always post their close calls on it. As they say, it’s not a matter of if you’ve gone it’s a mater of when you go down, so as you can imagine there were a lot of them. I think it’s important to post stuff like that because other people can learn from your mistakes. I read about how you need to look out for cars turning left across your path. I learned about constantly knowing who/what is around you so you know whether or not you can brake if the car in front stops or if you can swerve around them (you can’t turn AND brake at the same time on a bike, so it’s always one or the other.) I learned about what to do if your bike goes into a head shake and lots more. All of those things I learned b/c other people posted their experiences in those situations and it helped me and I’m sure it helps others.

I’m sure a lot of people read WoodysKJ post and wondered why would you steer through a deer when you can swerve to avoid it? But he’s right, most people are not fully alert 100% of the time to know if they have the room to swerve and may end up getting into a worse accident on their own or involving another driver in an accident that would have been fine otherwise. Hopefully they will take that and learn something. Hopefully other people read the very first post and realize that when your rear skids out on ice that when your tires suddenly make contact with something firm again it could cause you to roll over.

Anyway, regardless of pointing fingers or any of that I hope people don’t think twice about posting their close calls b/c I do think it will help other people regardless of age or experience. I don’t think anyone has any hard feelings and I hope the moderators don’t lock this post down.

Found it! So it's not a roll over caused by ice to pavement but you'll get the point. Although I'm sure this guy had a bit more damage. Sorry, but I don't know how to make and active link so you might need to copy and paste.

For Burchie and bthomas (yes my Jeep wanted its really rubbed)

Alright..I know I said I wouldn't post in here again but this thread took a turn for the best...in true L.O.S.T. fashion.

You guys are all great...each and every one of you. We all bicker every once in a while and things may get out of hand (naturally) and I may continue to do stupid things...but we all learn from our mistakes. It's not worth your time to get all upset over what somebody said on a forum...there's more important things to worry about in life!!

Just sayin'...Keep L.O.S.T. awesome...I love this place! :D

Got a bigger pic?

I must say I would probably take the time to detail the underbody while it was laying there.

Haha, did anyone read the comments on youtube that scooby posted? Last post was from a guy that said he flipped his Jeep and wasnt going to get another b/c of it. Someone needs to tell him that he was driving at the time.

Wow! are those two shadows of people or are those two lines the skid marks from the tires? How in the world did you not have any damage?

Any yea, that youtube post. It looks like he was doing that in a school parking lot or something lie that. he was probably on top of the work the entire time right up until... In my mind his girlfriend probably broke up with him on the spot. Ha!
