Just bumping the thread but if I'm not mistaking when you turn the key the warmer turns on but if someone has found a plug I'd like to know ware it's at too. I think you have to install the ones you plug in yourself.

If it's like the CRD block heater, The cord comes zip-tied to the dipstick tube and the dealer is supposed to prep it and route it to the bumper area, but most don't. I routed mine from that spot to the cavity in front of the battery.

It is on the left hand side of the engine, should be zip tied and not hard to find at all. Its put in a spot for easy access. The cord goes into the block of the engine on the left side(passenger side) as well.

When and if you find it, don't start the engine with it plugged in, supposedly the shock of cooler coolant coming from the outer parts of the system will burn out the heater element. This happened to me.

Makes sense. If the coolant is 10F on one side of the engine and hits that hot element on the other side then it would be like a hot light bulb hitting ice water.

Pretty sure its zip-tied to the dip-stick.

Thanks found it of cores the dealer I bought mine from didn't run had allot of problems with them. If anyone lives in the St.Louis area don't wast your money at Marty Cancila on North Lindbergh. Which I new not to go there but they were the only ones with a silver limited CRD, good with the bad i guess. THANKS AGAIN.
