We just had pretty bad weather last week when that snow storm blew through, even though there was only 3" I guess it wasn't really a storm. within 30 min of the start there already four different accidents along a 5 mile stretch of highway(I was on the opposite side). Anyways, I've just left the Jeep in 4WD the whole time. I figure I got the option I might as well get my moneys worth! I still haven't figured out the ESP and how it changes the handling. But whenever I doubted the handling I threw it in 4WD and loved it. So is it better to turn the ESP off if it's slick out?
I would leave it on unless your trying to BUZZ across a wet intersection. I have discovered otherwise it works well. Too feel it in action try doing a spin around ,safely of course, on a wet, deserted parking lot.

I noticed that you have 245/70/16 tires. Do they clear everything?? I would like to try that size on my unlifted Libby..........but I don't want to bend or trim anything until my warranty is over.

No, they do not. It rubs when I turn. There's a range in the turn where it rubs thats weird. It will not rub at full turn, but in the middle it rubs the pinch weld. I haven't taken the time to trim it, but the tires have pretty much worn down the plastic all the way through where the pinch weld is. The back tires have been fine except when I've gone through poopy intersections in Detroit at like 50  . Then the tires hit briefly. But if I'm going the speed limit they are fine. I would probably have problems if I was offroading, but I don't plan on any of that until I get through the winter and scratch the paint job a little.

EDIT: LOL, it automatically edited my post to say "poopy"...that was not the original term :D
