I think I missed the first part of this story. Can someone explain why is this desirable?

I have an after market bumper which required me to take out my washer bottle cuz it was exposed and hung to low

I wonder if there is anything to mount to on the firewall right behind it. Maybe a bracket between the fender bolt and the bolt on the firewall that holds the coolant resevouir. I'll have to take a look tomorrow and see what I can see.

Good work 0311_DoC. :D

Chrispitude,

First time I took my liberty wheeling, I somehow dislodged a big slab of rock that got pushed up the front of the passenger side front tire and took out my resevouir. :x I replaced it, but I've been looking for a good place to move it too since then. Its very vulnerable in the stock location and CRD's don't have much room in the engine bay as an alternative.

Thanks guys! The worst terrain our CRD sees is when we back our trailer onto a campsite. :) Now I get it.

At some point you may still choose to replace the front bumper with a stronger after market one to protect the front from critters, that is my plan, and nearly all of them end up exposing the water bottle. It looks like the new one in the 4WD section may have the problem solved though.
