I thought it would be good to start a thread on our next mods. There is always talk of what will this do, or how do I do that. This thread is for what I want, where do I get it, how much and then pics :D

2008: I plan to buy a rear diff guard from Posion Spider & later in the year a rear ARB locker. I'm going to have to wait for a little while for the diff guard, 0311 DoC has looked into it and there "wont be anymore until at least March or April" I'm wondering how much it will cost to send it to OZ.

(Further down the line I'd like to get the new RL front bar, the basic model that's still in the works.)

Well..... I should be getting my SFA KJ back in a week or so and I still need to build a rear tire carrier and mod my Rock Lizard bumper to hold it. Then I might work on a gas can/jack carrier for it. After that my plan is to modify my All J front bumper w/ a permanent mount for my winch and maybe a pair of lights on it. Then there is that project I have planned where I cut the roof out of it and add a........ It just never ends.

( I swear I just posted in my SFA thread that I won't have to spend much money on mods after I get it back...... ummm...yeah right! )

I'm not sure yet...

1.) Front TT
2.) CB Radio (still have no idea where I want the antenna)
3.) Loctite and silicone sway bar link mod

Honestly after I get the front TT on I don't think there's anything else I want to do... oh, except maybe a snorkel..

Oooo. Good post. I’m not doing anything crazier like some people on this so I feel a little wimpy but this is my wish list…

Larger tires by one size (235/75/16 if they fit without a lift, and if I can’t make that happen I plan to get 245/70/16 Revo’s)
Rear receiver
Front skid
Rock Rails (custom fabricated by me with the help of a friends shop I hope!)
Front dif collar (If I can find one)
Possibly upgrading my light bulbs for the stock driving lights… OR, if my right fog light goes out (front plastic is cracked) I’ll upgrade those.

After I install the 4" lift, I'll need:

1) Skid plates
2) Diff collar
3) Super Skink Sliders
4) Lockers, probably ARB

Eventually I want, in no order:

1) Rock lizard bumpers
2) 32" wheels (or 33" wheels if I can)
3) 4.10 gears (4.56 if I can... not in D30a, I know)
4) Lights
5) Roof Rack
6) all the other stuff I can't think of right now

Nice thread topic, but *JEEZ* where to start. Hmmm....

Relatively free stuff to do:
Put fuel skid on
Put front hitch on
Trim front bumper
Get my new Cragars into the state of VA
Make axe and shovel mounting brackets

08 plans:
Fix/replace exhaust (upgrade???)
1 new Cragar Soft8 to make a full set
5 new tires to go on JeepJeepster's old rims...I mean "my new Cragars"
New CB & Antenna
Replace Daystar lift with Frankie
Al’s A-Arms
Samco hoses
Hi-Lift jack

08 dreams:
Trailer (maybe a welder and pipe-bender to make my own)
Snorkel
Front diff collar
Rear locker
Front locker
More lighting

09 and beyond:
Front bumper
Rear bumper
SFA
New skids
6-speed manual tranny
Suncoast TC
In-Motion tuning module
Renegade hood conversion
On-board air (replacement for the cheap thing I have in the Jeep now)
Etc.
Etc.

I want an OME 2" lift with TÜW certificate next year and some 245/75 tyres to go with it. Can't yet decide on which ones. Might want to look into the general grabbers but I have a soft spot for the BFG A/Ts.

Oh and if it's considered a mod, the samco boost hoses too!

Rocklizard Rear bumper -- waiting for delivery, I should have it painted and installed in Jan
On-board air -- got all the parts, still deciding how to mount. -- maybe Feb
ARB's front and back and regeared -- got the parts, saving penny's for installation. -- Mar, before Moab

After that? maybe front bumper, Maybe a suspension lift. Maybe I'll be fixin my CRD after Moab.

so are the 4.10's the way to go? I have notice my CRD is a dog now that I have lift and armor on now... I think the weight is peaked out..... and if I do go that route, when I get my ARB lockers I need those for the 4.10's as well or just order them for a D30a and 8.25???
