Is there a shift kit for the libbys with auto transmissions? If so where can I buy. The shifts in mine arre waaaaaaayyy too soft. Thanks Garrett

look up 45rfe and you will find....... transgo makes a complete kit.... if i'm not mistaken!

I am really cornfused about what tranny I have...I know, only bc I did a fluid and filter change, that it has only one filter and no dipstick tube attached to pan if any of that helps.

wouldn't no dipstick mean something like your car has a manual transmission??

if its 04 or newer and not a CRD its the 42RLE

if its anything else its a 45RFE or a 42RLE


I'm getting kind or bored of the not knowing what trans people have when there are like 5 threads in the last week

yeah i know, but see, i just assumed that everyone knew that part. :oops:


and they basically are the same trans, just one has another forward gear, and since it has 3 planetary gears in it, i think it can be anything from 4-6 speeds depending on the TCM you have.
