Best place to find info on oil additives is www.bobistheoilguy.com . They have a whole section...but it is very tedious to read thru sometimes...lol

Z-Max to me is one of those too good to be true things, like if it "works" why aren't others trying to duplicate it? I just seems like kinda quackery to me, Oh and I saw an episode/infomertical of Car Crazy on Speed channel not too long ago and I swear the guy must have been getting paid everytime he said "Z Max" because I swear he said it at least once every thirty secounds in a ten minute spot...

"I used Z-Max for one month. My fuel mileage went from 10mpg to 21.5mpg. I also had a transmission leak which it cleared up.
It virtually eliminated my tooth tarter and cleared up my brother in law's weak ankle...." Testimonial

DON'T BUY IT...IF IT WORKED, THE ENGINE MFGR'S WOULD BE HANDING IT OUT FREE.......

I don't think they'd be handing it out for free. I'm betting they don't want their engines to last too long, then no one would buy new ones. It's all a racket. :)

If it really did make an engine last longer, one company would use it as a sales tool, and the rest would have to follow.

Kind of reminds me of the advertising from this company. The commercials are funny as hell, but true.

I remember when that stuff came out in the late 90s. Rumor was they had lots of lawsuits against them because it actually ate at the bearings. however, I never dug to confirm it because I don't believe in that crap.
