You would still need an application that uses that tool to download the contents of the ECM, decode the data into an understandable format, modify the code and reflash the ECM. The software is the hard part. There are groups of people that work together to make open source code that can "hack" into the ECM.. an example of a Subaru/Mitsubishi software is Open ECU: http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=Talk:Main_Page You would need to find an application like this for the Jeep's Bosch EDC 15C2 ecu to work with a hardware interface.
