I got the Coleman Safari rack Costco special. I am in the middle of making my cross rails to mount it. Looks like lots of us had Jeep on the Christmas list. :D

I finally received and put on my Black Widow rack, 20" extension, and fairing. I used the uni-strut/u-bolt method to mount it. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. No wind noise, but we'll see what happens to my MPG.

Are you planning on cutting that piece out for the receiver or leaving it as is?

Get a reciprocating saw and go to town! That's what I did! The way he cut his out looks pretty easy plenty of guides from the shape of the bumper but it still looks great. Alot of the guys who have cut off the bottom of the bumper also cut straight out and take out the two "tabs" that he left then you have to worry a little more about clean and straight.

Nice cutting BTW!

i 2nd that.... just lay down some masking tape for lines.. measure a few spots on both sides and hog into it... hard to mess it up!

06, I'd like to see some side shots of yours where you cut the bottom off if you have them and ever get a chance

Costco/ Coleman roof basket and four Hella 500 driving lights. You can see in the pic that I previously trimmed my front bumper. It was easy. Just masked it off, cut it with an air powered rotary cut-off wheel. Easy as pie, and doesn't take but a few minutes. Neighbors look at me like I'm crazy, always cutting and drilling on my jeep LOL.
