I have invited the MJR folks and it looks like a few of them are going to try to be there too. Also, the High Desert 4 Wheelers club from up here in Lancaster/Palmdale will be there that day too. Should be a good time on the trail and we can meet some new folks.

Man those H2's and H3's looked good out there. We should get together with those guys and wheel. If I was in need of an SUV...an H3 Alpha w/ the V8 would be high on the list.

Wow! Thats a pretty mean looking Hummer. It still looks a little big to be aiming for the JK market.

We will move the meeting time to 0930 and be leaving the parking lot around 1000 to go to the trail head.
The trail head is a few miles North of the ranger station on the right side of the 14 fwy.

We will be meeting another group from High Desert 4 Wheelers who will help keep us from getting too LOST and some folks from My Jeep Rocks will also be attending with us.

This should be a fun run and we will get to meet some more wheelers from So-Cal and have a good time on the trail.

Don't forget food and non-alcoholic drinks for the day and dress in layers as the temps can vary quite a bit out there this time of year.

Oh and this is a Moderate to Difficult trail of currently unknown condition. Skids and recovery gear are suggested.

Well, I'm out.

I don't have a Jeep to drive up there and besides that I was asked to work tomorrow so I have to do that. I am not sure who all was actually going to make it out there and I know a couple have cancelled as well.

There is still a large group from My Jeep Rocks and High Desert 4 Wheelers meeting up there tomorrow so if you still want to go, I suggest showing up at 0930 and wheelin'!

I guess we will add this trail to our must do list for the Fall as the trail is closed until Sept. so we will try again then.

Not a problem, very rare occurance up there and it barely rained there the last couple days Only 30% chance tomorrow there and ranger said area is fine.
