If they are "MORE POWERFUL" wouldn't the engine run too lean and decrease HP and MPG?

And I thought I was nuts for trying the Iridium plugs to see how they hold up!

I saw the add about these in a car magazine recently but I just don't know if I would trust the technology to work flawlessly. The beauty of a spark plug is they are so simple... This pulse plug on the other hands looks a bit complicated. It might even have moving parts (I can't remember from the drawing I saw)

Iridium plugs are proven performers from years in drag race engines(top fuel uses them).

Those pulse plugs are snake oil, kinda like the split fire plugs, way overpriced junk.A good single or double platnium plug or Iridium are your best bet, heck I bet good 'ol copper plugs(even the junk NGK's that come from the factory) preform better then those pulse plugs.

They actually are, might want to check the tech specks on there engines, not to mention the chassis and suspension tech.Pretty impressive to make 2+hp per cubic inch with no power adders and most tracks through a restricter plate.

So true so many street rides are running so well due to NASCAR Tech, The restrictions or shall we say guide lines that are required makes for a very level playing feild. So don't allow the Redneck moniquer blind you to the facts that the are using cutting edge technoledgy.

A 650hp V-8 that only lasts 4 to 10 hours? Wake me when they're building 600hp 4-bangers that will last through a 3 day off-road rally.

Just buggin' you guys!
Anyway, I haven't found any case studies, articles, or tech tests on these plugs anywhere. They're pretty new. I'd like to see a magazine or auto website to a product test on them.
