The really amazing thing is that he feels he has had more problems with his KJ then he ever had with his Grand Cherokee what ever modle it is. Those jeeps are JUNK. never seen one that wasn't riddled with problems. Not like the XJ that was one of the most dependable vehicles on the road, and still is (thats why they built it for darned near 20 years. Till the feds made them give up the 4.0L)
No, the "feds" didnt make them give up the 4L(as it was used in the WJ untill 04 and the TJ untill 06). The death knell of the XJ was stricter safety standards, and its planned obsolescence.
(yes it sold for many years, but in its last revision it only sold for 5 years, just like the ZJ, WK, and KJ.)
At Jeeps current rate of consumption the WK will see its last year of production in 2010. That means the WK replacement better start hitting road tests soon.
