Where is the best place to find these? I tried calling All J's and they didn't answer, and I'd really like to order/receive these ASAP!

Thanks,
Bill

front or rear bump stops?
you can use any hard rubber or steel thing to take up the space on the rear to stop the up travel of the rear axle
same for the front just not near as easy

depending in where you are hockey pucks work fine
I am in Louisiana and no one sells hockey pucks for 200 miles

I thought about the hockey pucks but I've decided against it... I'd rather just get the bumpstops and not worry about it..

Edit: I must say, I never realized how good Summit's prices were. I went to Advance Auto earlier today and they were $30 more than the cost from Summit shipped!

Ever thought about right from Daystar or a Daystar distributer?

Advance Auto would have price matched them and you'd already have them!

so you pinch penny's on the shocks
but piss it away on bump stop spacers
kinda silly
hard rubber is hard rubber
the spacers for JK's are steel that bolts to the control arms
so some scrap 1X1" box tube would also work good
just giving out ideas

I appreciate it, and I agree, but I'm not the one putting them on so my mechanic (stepfather) gets what he wants :-P

I made a set of rear bumpstops out of a high desity rubber hammer, simply cut off the two sides of the hammer head to make 2 bumpstops about 1.5 inches high. Hammer cost $7.50

Image

I know the pic isn't real big but you can see the bumpstops sitting up from the bottom , I run 31/10.5/15's Mickey Thomphson MTZ's and with these bumpstops don't get contact at full compression.

PS, the coils in the rear are also a special set of custom coils....I'm still trialing them and will post up a full writeup about them sometime next week after I fit some new long travel shockies Friday and go out wheeling on Sunday..
