Calico Clean-Up, Feb 16th, 08 (& JJ's B-Day too)

Hey guys. I'm in for this event. BUT...... There always is a but isn't there? I can't get up there until around noon. So, when the date gets closer, I'll coordinate where to meet you all, and we will go from there.

Dinner sounds good. Save a place for me.

We're in for the clean up and JJ's birthday dinner. Woo hoo! Already registered, just have to get a hotel. For those who went last year...should we bring anything besides gloves?

Shovel, good sturdy shoes, should cover it.

Cool deal Burch! we will try to let you know where we are and how to find us. If nothing else, we will plan a meeting spot afterward to meet up at.

BTW, I wonder when the raffle is???? I heard they got a bunch of stuff for it.

The place is gonna be a zoo so I am not sure where to call a meeting spot. PM me for a cell number and we can try to figure one out when we get to the registration area.

Cool, we'll be staying at the beautiful Rodeway Inn in Barstow Friday night and leave from there Saturday morning.

I have to do some recon to figure out what is where, how, and why and I will put together a game plan for Saturday.

Change of plans for dinner!!

We will probably HAVE to get reservations since there will be a bunch of people out there looking for a place to eat after the event so...... I am even cool if it is an early dinner/ late lunch deal after the raffle is over.....

The Barstow DiNapoli's is just down the street from the event and Nan's hotel so I think it would make a lot more sense to just do it there.

I will be calling them Friday to find out about reservations and more info. Stay tuned...

Calico, is just to far from me right now, I was asking if any one from this are or even the south OC is headed up cause I need a small something delivered to JJ.

Gonna shoot for 4:30-5PM but maybe earlier if the crowds disperse and start heading to dinner. I would like to try my luck at the raffle and I am sure once that is over everyone and their mother will be running to the eating spots.....ours included since it is just down the street.

I called for reservations and they said "first come, first served" so we will just be flexible for it and get there as soon after the event that we can. I don't care if it is a late lunch or early dinner, I'm sure I'll be hungry!
